If you start a pot boiling at 9:55PM (knowing that you will be up for a while) to hard boil eggs for the following day and don't set a timer, how long will it take before you go back to the kitchen to turn off the stove?

T: Tolerance of owner for strange noises that he attributes to a bird back in the attic

C: Number of eggs completely cracked open

A: Amount of water left in the pot at time of discovery

Hint: A and P are both zero.

Extra credit: How tasty are the eggs at time of discovery, and has the aforementioned owner wondered if he has found a new way to hard boil eggs?  The shell came off very easily, at least for the first one he opened and ate right away.
