Daley Ponderings

Here are the things I've written down over the last few days - and I had the foresight to take the paper out of my pocket before going sailing!

4/26 -  Jonathan, playing with legos or something: "Dam it, dam it, dam it."

Mommy: "Jonathan, please don't say that."

Jonathan: "But we saw one at the river!"

4/29 - Jonathan, in a mysterious voice: "Mommy, did you know that inside you is a ... skeleton!?!"

Noah figured out how to drink from a sippy cup.  He is also learning to hold a real cup in his own hands, but certainly gets himself wet.

Noah is beginning to make sounds that are close to words.  For example: I washed my hands at the kitchen sink, Noah said, "wawa", I asked if he wanted water, his eyes lit up and he signed please!  He has not been consistent with this word, though.

The best new development of Noah's for me is cuddly hugs!  He hugs me tight, leans his head on my shoulder, pats my back and says, "mmmm" or "mama" or something that might vaguely resemble "I love you."
