Noah is doing great at his speech practice. When he thinks about it, he can do /k/ and /g/ sounds at the beginning, ending, and middle of words. Examples: "big pig" "good guy" "duck" I'm so encouraged!
I thought I'd write down all of Faith's words so far that I can think of.
Spoken:
"hot" - with hand held out, palm forward, sound like "hhaahh"
"oh"
"uh-oh" - sometimes sounds like "huh-oh"
"hello" - sounds like "hewwo"
"hi" - sometimes "hiya" or "hi-eye"
"ow"
"yeah"
"no" - sounds like "nunnunn"
"down" - sounds like "dowww"
"diaper" - sounds like "die"
"mom" or "milk" (can't decide which she means) - sounds like "mummumm"
Signs:
please, more, milk, waving hi and bye, she copied toilet a couple of times
1/19 - Faith's bottom canines finally broke through. That's all her teeth so now we get a bit of peace until her two year molars decide to come.
Jonathan's reading is taking off. He is very much like his mother. Yesterday most of his free time was taken up by reading. It was also very nice at church to hear his boy soprano voice singing beside me as he read the words on the screen fast enough to keep up with the songs.
A quote from Jonathan after he brought in some firewood, "There was a mosquito piece, or whatever that was..." Jon: "Locust?" Jonathan, "Yeah, locust."

Couldn't verify you're not a robot. Wait a moment and post your comment again.
